The Punishment of Man by the Goddess explores themes of consequence, accountability, shame, and the confrontation between human weakness and divine judgment. In the foreground, a powerful female figure stands with her back turned toward the viewer, embodying mystery, authority, and the presence of an unseen force that has passed judgment. She becomes both witness and symbol—the embodiment of a reckoning that cannot be avoided. At the center stands a man divided into two expressions of suffering. One figure looks toward the goddess with a posture of shame and recognition, confronting the weight of his actions and the consequences of his choices. The other collapses into a more primal state, crouched low to the ground in physical and emotional distress, stripped of pride and illusion.

Ecofeminist paintings of the unseen threads of consciousness.
My work moves between two themes: the spiritual exploration of human existence through a mythical lens, and an ecofeminist, socio-political response to the environmental and systemic violence shaping our world today. My ongoing Goddess Portrait series is rooted in archetypes of different goddess mythologies around the world where I seek to reveal the hidden layers of identity, resilience, and consciousness, elevating real women into portals of divine power manifested in human form. These works seek to honor the sacred within the human and mundane, bridging personal history with collective memory through symbolic language. Parallel to this, my practice also confronts the trauma inherent in our current systems where I address the pressures of capitalism and the environmental degradation experienced as well as the emotional and spiritual costs of a world which is out of balance. Together, these two artistic explorations form a single inquiry: how do we thrive, transmute, and create meaning in the midst of our perpetually changing world?
