Stalactite - Part 1 The silent Practitioner of Time
About
A Recent collection, "Stalactite," comprising 99 artworks, unfolds in two interconnected movements that mirror the dual nature of these subterranean formations. The first part, "Slow living - Time's Gentle Carving," contemplates the stalactite as a testament to profound patience. These mineral structures are not created in haste but through millennia of silent, drip-by-drip accumulation. Here, time is not a destructive force but a collaborative partner in an act of deep devotion. This process embodies a "slow living" that is not stagnation, but a transformative, unhurried focus, turning the relentless passage of time into a state of serene, eternal form. The second part, "Wild Growth - Wildness After Awareness," explores the conscious courage inherent in this growth. A stalactite's form is not one of blind impulse, but a "wild growth" that unfolds within clearly defined physical constraints. Like a seed taking root in stone, it begins under compelled circumstances, yet chooses to transform external limitations into its unique inner texture. This is not passive endurance, but an active, tamed wildness—a clarity that retains its primitive impulse. It represents the full rhythm of life, where stillness and unrestrained expression are two ends of a single breath. The final piece, 'Source', is a single water drop. It is the origin and the answer of whole story : that life is not about arrival, but eternity becoming. Together, these 99 works invite a meditation on our own existence: the strength found in unwavering focus and the courageous beauty of growing into one's own form, even after clearly seeing all boundaries. The complete series is published in the artist's philosophical art book, Stalactite — The Clamorous Stillness and The Collection Part 1 will be presented in a solo exhibition in Paris from 5–7 June, 2026 at 139 rue du temple 75003 Paris , Espace Temple Gallery.
