Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device; the browser's local storage plays the same role. Murmuse uses two categories: cookies necessary for the site to work, set without your agreement, and audience measurement cookies, set only if you accept them in the banner.

If you refuse, your visits are counted anonymously, with no cookie and no stored identifier: nothing then allows us to recognise you from one visit to the next. Your choice is remembered for 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Changing your mind

At any time, the Manage cookies link at the bottom of every page reopens your preferences. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings; the necessary cookies will be recreated on your next visit.

Technical error monitoring (Sentry) works without cookies and without your agreement: it lets us fix failures and is not used to track you.

Third-party services without cookies

Some features load resources from third-party servers, which then see your IP address without setting a cookie: Vercel's cookieless audience measurement, the address field at checkout (Google Maps), maps (OpenStreetMap tiles) and videos (YouTube in no-cookie mode until you press play).

Artist personal sites

Sites hosted on *.murmuse.art show the same banner, and your choice applies to all of them. A site on its own domain remembers its own choice.
